GLOSSIP, James Marshall “Jim”, age 63, of Farmersville, OH, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 30, 2012. Jim was born in Dayton, OH, on April 1, 1949, to the late Marshall & Bessie (Barnett) Glossip. He retired from General Motors ~ Moraine Engine Plant after 30 years, of service; and was a member of Germantown Fraternal Order of Eagles #2292. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert Marshall Glossip (1983). He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Pamela S. (Harris) Glossip; 2 daughters, Rita (Casey Garrison) Glossip and Cathy (David) Ernst all of Germantown; 4 grandchildren, Tory Michelle and Taylor Marie Martin and Hunter William Marshall and Nicholas Barry Ernst; and long time friend, Fred Combs of Germantown. Family and friends may call 6 - 9 p.m., Thursday, May 3rd, at the Dalton Funeral Home, Corner of State Route 4 & Weaver Rd., Germantown, where the Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m., Friday, with Pastor Bobby F.
