Wells, Sidney B., “Sid”, age 67 of Farmersville, OH, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, June 6, 2012. He was born in Middletown, OH, on July 3, 1944, to the late Orville R. and Gladys G. (Egleston) Wells. He was in the U.S. Marine Corps – serving two tours during the Vietnam War. Sid retired from Mound Lab as a Sr. Development Engineer after 33 years of service. He was a member of Trenton GracePointe Church of the Nazarene; the West Alexandria American Legion Post #322, where he was active with the Military Honor Guard Unit; and Farmersville Masonic Lodge #482 – F & A.M. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Donna J. (Oney) Wells; his daughter, Brenda Wells of Carlisle; 3 step-sons, Randall “Scott” Bumgardner of Auburn, IN, and twins Jody Bumgardner of Germantown and James Bumgardner of Miamisburg, 2 step-grandchildren, Ashley & Dallas Bumgardner; 2 brothers, Darrald Wells of Hope Mills, NC and Paul Wells of Whitefish, Montana. The family will receive friends, 2-5 p.m., Sunday, June 10th, with Masonic Service at 4:45 p.m. at the Dalton Funeral Home, Corner of State Route 4 & Weaver Rd., Germantown, where the Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, with Pastor Martin Stamper, officiating. Burial will follow at Holp Cemetery, Farmersville, OH, where Military Honors will be provided by West Alexandria American Legion Post #322.
